Blackout Lining for Curtains

We bought 2 sets of the mustard colour linen curtains (80% blockout) and are incredibly happy! They are well made and the colour we received was exactly like the images. We have a very colourful home, our walls are green, and we wanted something bright but not garish. Curtain rods are from T&W. Delivery took a few weeks but they arrived safely, well packaged and in good condition. When I hung them they were quite creased but the creases fall out after about a month. I didn’t want to iron or steam them as I was a little worried that I would damage the lining. Overall a very good purchase and I would recommend them to others.

I ordered the natural linen thermal curtains, with blockout fabric and they are stunning! 100% worth it for well-made curtains. They block out the cold and the incoming morning sunlight too.

I hung these curtains in Lounge-room. My walls are warm white and I found all other colours to dark for this room so I chose the Off White with 50% backing. They do block heat and most light yet I would not recommend them for a bedroom-more suited to non sleeping areas (unless you layered them maybe?) . I have the natural linen and a grey in bedrooms (great for blocking heat and light) yet would like to see a very light subtle grey or deeper coloured off white-light grege in colour range-It seems quite a big jump in depth of colours from the whites to natural linen-greys. The quality of the curtains is fantastic-I have back tabs on all my curtains and find them super easy to install and I feel comfortable with the kids opening and closing them-yes you do have to play with them a tad to get them to sit nice whilst closed yet I find cords frustrating. I can also see clearly these would be quite easy to have cleaned with a quick trip to dry cleaners unlike plastic backed heavy curtains (another reason I very much like these curtains!). I have saved thousands purchasing these curtains-quote's for my house was well over $8000 and blind/curtain sellers super pushy! Postage was very quick (the two times I have purchased) and well informed. As with most people spending thousands, it can make you quite nervous yet this company is fantastic, I do recommend and I will not hesitate for my next purchase (one more custom made curtain to go).
